Megan, Owner

Shortly after receiving her cosmetology license, Megan joined Von Kekel Salon in Cary in 2002. She attended extensive training with Aveda. Such training has led her to New York, Washington DC, AVEDA’s headquarters in Minneapolis, MN and London. Megan believes in staying updated with the latest styles and fashion while maintaining respect for classic, timeless looks. She enjoys creating color and cutting equally, and her attention to detail is evidenced in all of her work. Megan believes that listening to her guests is the most important tool in achieving a collaborative desired goal, as well as helping to build lasting friendships.

It has been a lifelong dream of Megan’s to become the creator of her own destiny. That dream has now come to fruition with Larkspur Salon Spa.

Lauren, Salon Coordinator

Originally from Georgia, Lauren transplanted to Raleigh in 2012 with her husband. Lauren is the Salon Spa Coordinator at Larkspur. With a long background in retail management she appreciates the change of scenery of being in the salon atmosphere. Our resident pink-haired lady enjoys watching the ever changing beauty industry and seeing everyone adapt to new styles.

When she’s not at work you can find her cheering on her husband at one of his many sports, at home with her dogs, or at a garden center with her best friends.

Inna, Stylist

Inna, our master stylist at Larkspur Salon Spa, started off apprenticing under our owner, Megan Moore. In May 2014 Inna completed her education at the AVEDA Institute of Chapel Hill, and received her cosmetology license shortly after graduating. Inna is passionate about bringing out every guest’s inner beauty and making them comfortable and confident with their own style.

This mom of 2 is hard working and dedicated to the craft of hair. Inna enjoys highlighting and cutting and strives for perfection with every guest and loves learning new techniques and styles. She likes meeting new people, getting to know each of her guests, and is always happy to see them return to her chair.

Anna, Stylist

Anna comes to us from Memphis, Tennessee but is originally from Ukraine and speaks Ukraine and Russian fluently. She graduated from Gould’s Cosmetology Academy in 2013 and started working at Gould’s Beauty Salon in Memphis directly after. In February of 2018 she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to be closer to her family. For Anna, her job is not just about cutting and coloring hair; she enjoys giving someone the style that captures their personality and lifestyle. Anna loves outdoor activities, cooking, photography, and fashion.

Young, Esthetician and Nail Technician

“Seeing a guest’s rejuvenated skin after a facial brings me a new energy to live daily life. And beautiful, well polished nails make me smile whenever I see them.”

Young came to Raleigh from South Korea in 2003 to start her career as an esthetician. Her career as a dental hygienist in South Korea helped her to learn compassion, dexterity and interpersonal skills that she transferred into her new career in esthetics.

Young’s favorite part of skin care is facial massage. She believes it can help in the delay of aging and also rids the body of toxins by stimulating pressure points in the face and can be a relaxing experience. Young feels that taking care of your skin not only provides a better outside, but also supports an individual’s self esteem and confidence.

Stephanie, Stylist

Maggie, Stylist

Maggie, originally from Chicago, came to North Carolina in 2019 with the intention of becoming an Aveda hair stylist. She attended the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill and began assisting at Larkspur in July 2021 to enhance her learning. During her free time, Maggie enjoys traveling to experience different cultures and animals. She loves spending time with her friends and family!

Ashley, Stylist

"I love being a part of someone's transformation, whether it be color or a cut. I want clients to feel their best before they leave."

A new transplant to Raleigh, Ashley moved here from Charleston SC where she did hair for 5 years on Daniel Island. She attended continuing education with Davines and went to New York for Milbon and trained in head massage techniques and treatments for scalp health. Ashley has a true passion in the industry to continue to grow as a stylist. In her off time she loves being in the country or on the water fishing with her husband and daughter.

Morgan, Stylist

Joining her family in Raleigh, Morgan comes to us all the way from Binghamton NY. She studied cosmetology at Broome-Tioga BOCES in New York. Morgan has loved doing hair and nails from a young age and embraces continuing her career and education with Larkspur! When Morgan is not behind the chair you can find her deep in a good book!

Tamana, Stylist

It isn't just a hairstyle. It's you and it's beautiful.

Having more than 10 years of bridal and event styling, Tamana decided to take the plunge fully into cosmetology and add hair color and cutting to her portfolio. She graduated San Jose City College in California in 2018. After working as an asylum officer in immigration for 5 years, she turned to a new chapter in continuing to improve people’s lives and share her passion for the beauty industry.

Her decision to move to Raleigh from California was influenced by her 6 brothers and their families. As a newlywed, she looks forward to beginning her own family here. In her spare time she visit with her dad and experimenting with new recipes and trying new foods.

Sherri, Front Desk

"I love welcoming our guests and am thrilled to be a part of their Larkspur experience!"

Sherri lives in Raleigh with her husband, two sons, and border collie. If Sherri is not at Larkspur or with her famile, you’ll find her with her best friend traveling and enjoying a Dave Matthews Band show!

Kim, Front Desk

This busy mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs is always on the go! Between managing her kid’s busy schedule and taking care of our guests at the salon, Kim brings the best, attentive energy to each person. Kim not only enjoys spending time with her children, she loves to be creative in the kitchen!
